  last time i went i found the people running the camp to be quite rude but thought i'd try again as its location suits me. this time on the first night i was cooking my son some dinner when the gas burner burst into flames. i swiped it away and we both jumped up and moved expecting an explosion.i don't know if someone mentioned it to the camp keepers or he just happened to notice the 3ft flames, he came over to scold us for burning his grass. i couldn't beleive it not are you ok ..pls move away nothing and in my opinion very unprofessional we will not be back again

  I visited this place a few weeks back, so cold at night, but great during the day, first impressions were ok a steepish kinda driveway to drive up but not a problem, and wouldn't be for any 1 else I wouldn't think. found the house office, and they told us where to plonk the van, so off I goes, looking looking for a handy spot, as it had rained there the night prior or days before and was kinda a slosh pit, found a spot and set up the van, and I was camping, I went to the loo and my dog got off her lead I was was jumped on, I thought , dog friendly, I think not, more like dog tolerable, but that's ok I kinda ignored him as my dog is pretty well behaved and she only come looking for me as she lost sight of me, the kelpie in her I suppose. the toilets were spotless and stocked at all times, they were digging holes for powered sights when I was there, but no issues with that. the grass was lush, somewhat flat grounds, but no problems fitting in anywhere. personally I think showere would ke kaos here as it seemed very popular with families and their kids that helped me out by trying to walk my staffy, but that didn't work to well, she dragged the kids everywhere, and was funny to watch, as every 1 got a laugh out of it. I spent my time on the upper level of this place and found it great, but in winter and if you want sun, be careful where you park, generators were heard on the Thursday or Friday night until quite late, just the 1 in particular but didn't worry me, as camping is camping, if I wanted piece n quiet i'd stay home. the fires were lit at night but I opted to watch movies instead, but I enjoyed my time here although it would have been much better with a small group of people. the owners / managers mostly keep to themselves, and that's a big no no in my books as i'd like to get to know the people that are paying my wages, and get any feedback off them to make a good place better, but i'll definitely be back. for me 3 out of 5, and there is no such thing as a 5 in my books, just needs refining and a more relaxed theme and matbe a dog off lead area as a lot of ppl that go there do have dogs I noticed... happy days !!!

  Excellent for 8 AUD it costs. If you need a 1-2 days stay on week days, it is just perfect. Close to Lemington, shades, bbq, fireplaces, creek to chill. Very nice care taker. Rain and drinking water too. Yes, close to the road and military shooting range so sometimes may be a bit of distraction. Nothing to be worried about.
